A Landscape Written in Water
In the quiet elevation of Mid‑levels, water becomes the storyteller.
At May Tower, the garden is not redesigned — it is re‑composed. Each surface, each stone, each movement of water is a line in a larger poem: a poem about stillness, about flow, about the way light touches metal and how sound softens against granite.
The Turtle Pond expands like a breath held and released. Its rounded form gathers energy; its copper edge draws a fine horizon between reflection and air. Broad leaves drift, gravels settle, and the water moves from South to North — a direction chosen not by trend, but by tradition, by the quiet logic of feng shui.
On the East side, the waterfall rises. A crafted height, measured by Luban Ruler, becomes a vertical stroke of intention. Water falls in three chapters: a wide sheet, a textured cascade, a mirrored pool. Each chapter slows the world, invites contemplation, and anchors the garden with a sculptural calm.
Together, pond and waterfall form a dialogue — between movement and stillness, between nature and artifact, between contemporary design and ancient principles.
This is MUD’s language: minimal, deliberate, quietly confident. A landscape not made to impress, but to endure. A sanctuary shaped by water, crafted for living.
